I've noticed that the Starlings have been a bit short tempered recently!

I think it is in their nature to be a bit argumentative especially when food is involved. Perhaps other sources of food are getting harder to find and sharing has been forgotten.

A Starling roosting overnight in their usual nesting site to avoid the rain!

Very sensible I would say. I knew some species use nesting boxes for winter roosting. :nod:

Yes indeed, keeping an eye the camera I can see that the same individual is roosting there every night, regardless of whether it's raining. It's arriving at dusk and leaving at dawn like clockwork!
