EJ, Odin and the chicks are all doing well. How the chicks have grown in a short space of time.

Lady and Young Pretender still incubating the eggs that are not going to hatch. They incubated for 70 days last year before giving up.

Blue YD has gone AWOL. Either tag has malfunctioned (tag manufacturers think not) or its bad news.

Feeding time at Loch Garten. Youngest chick right at the front. Chicks are beginning to look like little Ospreys now.

Wet at Loch of the Lowes and Loch Garten. Both females look soaked. EJ has wings spread a bit to protect chicks from the rain.

Two chicks at Caerlaverock (Dumfries), one egg failed to hatch.

Now 61 days since the first egg was laid at Loch of the Lowes. Lady still incubating. She did try to bury the eggs the other day but changed her mind. Its wet there today.

Very wet at Loch Garten too. EJ trying to protect her chicks but they are still getting wet.

I thought incubation had stopped at Loch of the Lowes. There were no birds on the nest a while ago but I see Lady is back incubating now.

Looks like incubation at Loch of the Lowes is getting less and less. Birds are spending more and more time away from the nest.
