It is a nationwide problem Willpar. Our local tip will accept almost everything but some people are just too idle to bother getting it there. :(

Half the problem is that The Council charges to take stuff away.
It's not "Austerity" because this began about 8 years ago and now it's exorbitant.
Not everyone has a car or indeed can load heavy stuff into a car.
My shed is full of stuff :(

The place where I took the video is a favourite place for fly tipping. Back along there was asbestos sheeting there. Talking to a local it would cost the council around 6 grand to place a camera there. Would have thought that would be money well spent, considering the fines for fly tipping.

Quite possibly the same person. I used to hate seeing that if I came across it on regular walks - it always felt like a personal insult ... and on my property :cry3:

It's ok devolving powers to Councils for local issues, but national issues need central Government intervention. This is just one example of where something works well here, but far less well elsewhere. Environmental issues need national/international direction.

Here we go again. Same place as the last one. This time I have gone public with the video, with a little shaming of the council.

 I wonder if the house owners know about this or they are indeed doing the renovations themselves :(
