I'd been threatening myself with a trip to Arne for a while, so Sunday was the day, warm and still, all augured well...

Impressive collection of photo's PB, I do like Arne. Never managed the selection of birds that you have though. Great to get that close up of the Osprey.

Cheers Snappy, I think that's my best day down there, even discounting the Ospreys! Only thing missing was a Dartford lol. It's the first time I've seen Osprey there, and the first Sea Eagle too. At one stage there were 3 Osprey, but pretty distant.... obviously didn't stop me snapping away lol

Ta... there's a little side track that goes to a platform, where I guess you can do pond dipping, and there are the big Raft Spiders (I think that's what they're called-never seen one), and there was a chap lying on his belly with his camera on a mini tripod pointing at the lizard. Obviously I had the big lens on, and after checking he had decent shots in case I disturbed it, I started faffing swapping lenses :)

And it wasn't evil... it was chronological :P
