Still an egg at Poole Harbour to hatch. Never seen a nest with four chicks before. It does happen but rarely.

If the fourth egg does hatch is there any risk the chick will become lunch for the elder siblings?

Never knew that! It was my first decent sighting, have only seen one even more distant in Poole Harbour previously
