That's quite sad peregrine, its good that the chicks are given a chance to survive, but its sad that parents can't feed them :(
Do you know why they are being relocated to Spain?

I think the report suggests that getting the chicks to Spain will give them a better chance of completing the migration to Africa.

Haven't been on for a while. It looks like all Ospreys, adults and chicks have left for warmer climes. Roll on 2025 season. Wonder if the chicks sent to Spain are also heading south as well.

They jolly well ought to be. They've had a lift half way to Africa.

Louis and Dorcha have both returned to Loch Arkaig. Nothing at Poole Harbour or Loch of the Lowes yet, just a matter of time,

Quick update. There is an Osprey on the nest at Poole Harbour.

Osprey Count on Nests

Loch of the Lowes - 2 birds
Loch Arkaig - 2 birds
Poole Harbour - 1 bird (looks like the male going by chest markings - ringed)
