A few new ones from this morning. The first one's a bit of a mouthful - Setaceous Hebrew Character.

A Setaceous Hebrew Character is a different moth

Just looked up 'setaceous' in my grandad's dictionary - "bristly"

Poplar Hawkmoth. A member of the Hawk moth family. Every year I manage to get one of these friendly giants. This one has a wing span of just under 3 inches.
