Was on my way over the shop just now and spotted a humming bird hawk moth on the flowers that grow on the bank. First of the year.

Good spot William, they've been reported around here for a while, but I've not seen one so far

On my way back from the shops this morning, two Hummingbird Hawk Moths on the valerian that grows on a hedge bank. First time seeing two at the same time.

Well done William . We've had our annual visits to next doors overhanging buddleia start, 2 evenings running now, and whilst I was in Weymouth on Sunday saw my first Jersey Tiger of the year

We had a Jersey Tiger in the garden (wouldn't wait for a photo...) last week and another on a walk.

The valerian was busy this morning, went over to have a look. Seen four hummingbird hawk moths, and some if not lots of some silvery moths.
