A question for the Hedgie afficionados . Is there any corollation between the size of the Hog and the dimensions of the C.C.? I have been well accustomed to what my regular Hog leaves but over the last couple of nights I have been left something much bigger. I was on the point of blaming a Cat at first but closer inspection ruled that out altogether.
Apologies for descending to this level but I am curious.

Would not have thought so jacksparrow. I know they can apply a plug for hibernation to stop them soiling the nest. Maybe they can do that for sleeping during the day, and then bottles up the rest which I suppose could lead to a whopper.

Well I never saw the one I released again.
I do have 7 fairly regulars.
I marked a new one last night and another new one just now. You'd think the new ones would be small juveniles, but they are all porkers.
I think I've lost about 3 or 4 that were marked and then disappeared.

Not much going on with the hedgehog front. Have around 3 regulars that come in each night. Usually goes quiet this time of year then picks up again around latish August. No babies yet either. For me that is usually later anyway.
