. Looks like Frank is beginning to say HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO. River Nith expected to flood the Whitesands, a mile and a half upstream, in the town from where I am. Doesn't look promising.

Many areas affected by Storm Frank. Wind still strong but rain has stopped at the moment. One of the wife's nieces stay up in Ballater. She works of the Council (not sure as what) and she is also a Retained Fireman (Fireperson or what ever). She has been involved since about 9am this morning helping evacuate people.

A grey grisly January day. It didn't rain all day(quite) but it may as well have done.
