My pal the Robin, who tends to appear whenever I'm in the garden, has taken an interest in Mothing! he appeared this morning about 4 feet away and gave me a look that said 'yum yum'. Then hopped under the table where I was emptying the moth trap, nicked a moth and scarpered.
It had been a good night for Yellow Underwings, I had 30 - 40 in the trap, they were everywhere. I try to keep them safe, but I'm afraid one of them drew the short straw :weep:
