Day trip to Mull

Post by Linda257 »

So the trip I was very excited about I ended up taking very little pics :sofa:
Just means I will need to make a return visit for much longer and get on an Eagle boat trip but they were fully booked prior to my visit. Got a lovely surprise on the way over as I stood at the back of the ferry...bottlenose dolphins appeared...a 1st for me :photo:
I did get to see 2 WTE but crap pic as one was miles away on a fence post and the other had almost disappeared when I abandoned my car in the middle of single-track Road and got my camera out  I done lots of driving but never saw another Eagle and I refused to take scenery pics
Here goes....Next trip WILL be better...I hope :D

At least the WTE are more than specks on your lens ๐Ÿ˜ Well done ๐Ÿ‘ I've never seen dolphin so another well done for those too ๐Ÿ˜€ Looked a decent trip, even if it wasn't all to your plan... Sometimes you can't have everything your own way ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ As you said, a good excuse to go back ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

An eagle on a fence post is better than no eagle at all  Next time you go remember to tick the "Yes" box when it asks "do you want to see any wildlife?"
The dolphins were a good win and don't usually disappoint if there is a good wake to play in.

We haven't knowingly seen bottlenose dolphins, they are high on the list... Any WTE is better than none. Always good to have an excuse to return, I find.

They just seemed to appear as the ferry was approaching Mull just passing the castle so most folk were all heading back to queue to get off or get to lower deck for their cars....thier loss
