Trying out the pond area again today. Azure Damselflies are prolific at the moment. Got this one just before it landed.

Managed to snap this Red Admiral butterfly today. Must have been a good 20-30 flying around. Love seeing them back in the garden.

That's a fab number in a garden, Ed, I think I've only seen a couple this year, and they were motoring on by, not pausing and posing. Love shots like yours, from slightly below, showing underwing patterning

On the theme of trying to get the small things in the garden, I had a go at this little mite. I think this is a Clover mite as the size seemed to be less than 1mm. You guys may know different.
