Another birder I know from SOC dropped me a pin location to go explore. Only about 30 mins drive so why not. It was a glorious baltic morning as I stood listening to nothing but bird song , it was a wee hidden gem in a place called Glentaggart. I saw a red kite on the hills just doing its thing which was nice , but so sick of them buzzards on the opposite hills then for the 1st time EVER ......Thumper!!!
And then there were 2
And a few birds I saw
It's always nice to find a new place to explore and even better when you don't see another soul
Ain't it just beautiful
Looks a lovely location Linda and another first. Nice to see them haring about, I only see them haring off... Great set of birds as well, the little ringed plover is a nice find, looks quite close. It does look peaceful.
Oooh, 'ark at 'er, with her "dropped a pin"! Bloody pick it up before someone hurts themselves Looks lovely, and congratulations on the hates, nice shots, even if I am only on my phone! Nice birdies too
