Lovely additions Ed, the Lapwing certainly are stonkingly stunning in the sunlight.... although everything looks better in sunshine lol

Lovely photo's Ed, I have only managed a distant photo of a lapping so far. Merlin App agrees with your wigeon.

There's nothing much wrong with those flight shots, Ed, apart from you didn't manage to jump up to eye-level, and navigate your way slightly in front of them 🤣
Like snappy said, lovely light and blue sky, no complaints here, except it wasn't here 😁

Thank you PB. At my age my jumping high days are over. :rofl: I guess I could bring along a large step ladder next time I go somewhere. :rofl:
May get some curious glances from people. May get a "you've been framed" moment as well.

Always nice to get a deer Ed. That's a great photo of the Sedge Warbler, nice timing.
