Lodmore and bit of Ferrybridge 02/03/2026

Post by PimperneBloke »

So, apart from the Marsh Harriers, there was a lovely sunny day of stuff much nearer the end of my lens to enjoy! It stated prety Dunnock-y, but soon spread into a little bit of everything!
It's a lot of pics, so grab a cuppa!!

Hope you enjoy

Great collection of photos of birds in various poses. I cannot pick a favourite so a big  for all of them.

Thanks Snappy, I'd been hoping for waders at Ferrybridge, as the tide was out, but there wasn't a single one to be seen, very odd! The singing and parachuting Skylarks (about half a dozen of them) made up for it though :) I wasn't THAT close to the shelducks.. it was still with the big lens + teleconverter lol

Thanks Linda, time keeps rolling by, but must be 3 or 4 months since I've had a belter of a day like that! Fingers crossed your prediction comes true 😁
