Thanks PB, I wasn't leaving without seeing them yesterday! Paths were like ice rinks and a dusting of snow and they were hiding in the thick growth...one wee flash of orange and I was doing cartwheels!!!

Great Pics Linda. Love the mandarin ducks. There is a house a few miles from me with a huge pond. Happens to keep mandarin ducks there, and they have nesting boxes.

I have seen Mandarins in the wild but never close enough to admire their beautiful plumage. Great photos. :photo: :clap:
