Studland 11/12/2025 Part 1

A day off, finally coinciding with no chores and decent weather, in December, can only mean one thing... a hunt for divers (unless it means a hunt for winter thrushes!)
So I pootled off before sunrise for Studland as I'd not managed to see divers the other week, with high hopes, as there had been daily sightings.
I'd not been to Middle Beach for a couple of years, so I'd thought I'd stop there before heading further onto the peninsula, and then try and find the hide overlooking Brands Bay which I'd read about for years, but never ventured to, and finally end up at Jerry's Point, which looks across the harbour to Brownsea Island (Studland peninsula is the the southern border of Poole Harbour)

Needless to say (as this is part 1) it was a successful day!

Thanks Snappy... it's coming... slow to upload this lot for some reason.
Not sure what I've done with comments on flickr, haven't changed any settings as far as I know. Is this just this post, coz you mentioned it beofre and I think I tweaked something and don't know if it sorted it in the interim?

I am not sure where the setting is I haven't used it. I am sure you did sort it last time. On one of these photo's I had just added my comment, when it changed...

In Settings / Privacy & Permissions / Defaults for new uploads (R/H side of page) / Who will be able to see, comment on, or add notes

Comment on: Any Flickr user - This may be the setting that has changed

Change this setting with the Edit to correct future uploads.

I think you will need to change the existing photo's in Organise...

Everything should be commentable now. Don't think anything changed, but set all pics to all flickr users again just in case

Currently all of Part 1 are ok. They kept swapping as I looked through them. I think it takes a while for the setting changes to filter through.
