Well I was at the Haugh this morning but that was only to kill time until my son got up out his bed on day off to chaperone me to see a duck I haven't seen before. Yeah ano he's a good boy and he knows if he didn't go there would be no dinner tonight for him :shrug:
So this wee guy has been reported here for over a week and a was gonna go at the weekend and then there was a report of a Bittern so defo too busy for me then.
sun was out today so perfect but baltic

Finally caught up the the smew after 30 mins or so of walking and blethering to other birders but sun was in my eyes :rolleyes:

And a goldeneye nice and close

Ohh, that's a belter Linda. Only seen them at Slimbridge, part of the collection, so a bit of a cheat :D Goldeneye's handsome too :yes:

Thanks PB, I kinda thought I had missed it as other birders had been searching for an hour before I got there :unsure: but as my local fellow birders say "the birds always come out for Linda" :laugh:

Thanks SM apparently there is a scaup there aswell but tae hell way that amongst all the tufty and goldeneye :unsure:
