So reports were that 150 Golden Plover were down at Lodmore Monday, so Tuesday I decided to tootle off and have a look for myself. Before I'd got 50 yards down the path I got a bit distracted.....

Oh wow check you giving Bob a run for his money. Must admit I had to look up Sika deer! I know them from up the farm at Lanark with their pretty white spots...yours are wild beasts

Indeed it was, Snappy. The Sika at Arne, I believe, swam to the mainland from Brownsea Island where they were introduced by some rich family
