Very nice Snappy. Down in Cornwall a few years back a little egret and a heron mated and had young. Did not see the outcome as there was no follow up.

When did your chiffchaff become a willow warbler, Snappy? Definite split personality there lol
Love egrets... think I prefer great to little, but probably only coz I see little more often, as Cattle are the favourite and hardly ever see them!

Thanks PB :D Apparently it is more like a willow warbler than a chiffchaff. Difficult to tell from that photo as I didn't get the label in it... :shake: I did see flock of cattle egrets at Welney, following a machine emptying a ditch. Just a bit too far off for a decent photo though.
