Pot Pourri
Re: Pot Pourri
Septembers video has just landed folks. And a pretty good month it was, plenty of butterflies, some nice fungi, sunbathing reptiles and a splash of birds.

Great selection of butterflies and fungi William. I saw my first Fly Agaric of the year yesterday. I don't tend to see any lizards locally.Willpar wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 8:19 am Septembers video has just landed folks. Thank you Snappy, the lizards were a real bonus, I know where they are but the council takes away their sunbathing branches. Hoping it will be a good autumn for fungi, the woods here on my doorstep can turn up some nice ones.

Thanks Willpar. Plenty of variety with the butterflies and lizards showing well.
I don't remember seeing a Wall Brown butterfly in your videos previously.

Thank you JS, there is a wall brown in one of the other videos. All in all had a good month. The other wall is in the video for July JS.

Well, October turned out to be a bumper month for fungi. There are hundreds if not thousands of them. The game birds are back in the fields and a few other birds i managed to get. Reptiles feature well and a few flowers. A good month for being out and about.
Re: Pot Pourri
Omg I think you live near fungi central William. I've never seen so much or such a variety. Perhaps the wildlife up here eats it all before I see it. Your lizards are just amazing to see and a think I saw a glimpse of the redstart. Fantastic vid thanks for sharing

And now your starter for 10, is to name all the fungi, in alphabetical order
Certainly a huge variety, and as mentioned, the lizards are great... not something I see often.
Thanks for taking the time to put it together and share William
