A roebuck this morning. Shame about the long grass blur across the face but hey ho. I tried to change positions but he was off barking. 10 minutes later and further on I looked back and he'd come back but in the harvested field next door.... typical.

Roe deer this morning in my local valley. Not the best photo but they are a lot more difficult to get close to than the red deer. Looks like mum is shedding one of her two coats.

They are my favourite deer I have to admit. So hard to get close to as I say. We do have muntjac too in the valley but after 11 years of walking it I have only had a glimpse of a distant one and I'm still not sure it was a muntjac.
