Jacksparrow's got his boots out - here comes The First Snow !!
Fortunately it's from our usual direction, the West, so it probably won't last. It's the more rare easterly which is the problem.

Re: WEATHER
Wall to wall rain here. And right on Q just as I was getting the doggy out for his first walk.
Re: WEATHER
It began at 3.15 pm, big soggy flakes. Don't know when it stopped but the TV picture didn't come on until 6.30.
It's lying now so birdies' breakfast will be interesting .....

Re: WEATHER
We're going out for a Chinese tonight and neither of us want to leave the warmth of our gas fire and get cold out there. There was a bit of wet sleet earlier, but none of this 1 inch of snow that's disrupting the rest of the country.
In contrast to France where, on the busiest transfer day of the year, they've had non-stop heavy snow since 3 this morning and that is real snowmageddon (but not quite like it was in Boston last month). They've shut roads and opened overnight emergency accommodation at the base of the Alps. Still, when they get to their resorts, the skiing will be amazing.
