Oh they sure are Kevin, I only see them on grass verge by side of road when am driving. But a do remember last year or year before one turned up in my garden....glad it never stuck around or ma plants would be no more

So! I've been looking at those pics I mentioned about a year ago ;)

Been a good day, on the patch and out and about. I set off for one of my reservoir walks this morning, drove down the lane and at the bottom I spotted a small flock of birds keeping ahead but landing often so, I stopped and grabbed a few shots.
Came back from the walk and uploaded the photos to find I'd got a Spotted Flycatcher and youngsters, I think. the youngster shot was through the car windscreen but I think it is a young SF!!! Woop woop photos to follow

I'm now thinking they might be young Stonechat? Anyone?

Merlin thinks Stonechat and that would be my guess. Nice photo.

Thanks Snappy, I tended to think so too, there were around 5 of them and I think its too early for SF??

I only saw SF for the first time last year, none yet this year.
