A good month for the wild flowers. The orchids seem to have done well this year. Thank you Willpar

Thought June was a very good month. Birds, blooms, butterflies and bugs with some fungi in the mix for good measure. There was no larking about on the fence post. And mama spider had a lot of kids to look after.

Top marks Willpar. The best one this year so far. Definitely Golden Ringed Dragonflies. Something for everyone.

July was a bit more of a challenge with the wet weather. Managed to get there in the end.

Right up my street. Butterflies, Dragonflies and a Goldfinch eating thistle seeds. Who could ask for more?

Thank you JS, got lucky with the goldfinch and dragonfly. Seen on the news this evening that despite our summer, Red Admirals are having a good year. Numbers are up on the hot summer of last year.

August at the start was good for butterflies then they started to fade away. Though the fungi seem to have took over. Only a couple of birds. The last am not sure what it is.

Very good :photo:  . I enjoyed the butterflies especially. My guess at the mystery bird is Corn Bunting.
P.S. do you not see the lizards anymore?
