Good spot Butterfly. They are in my town centre but rarely come out to see us all in the housing estates.
That's why I was surprised to see it in my garden JS

, I always see them only in the town centre and car parks. I just hope its not just one off

If it knows there is a good source of food butterfly, it could well return. I have had them for several years now. They turn up November and leave late February to mid March.

My bird visits have dropped off again. Even the usual suspects seem to be fewer in number. I may have had a Sprawk visit to scare them off but I didn't see it.

On a brighter note, my little cute pied wagtail has returned

Good news about the pied wagtail butterfly. My two are still around. I think one may perch on the window board or the railings when it wants to get my attention. Seems to fly from that direction when i go out with food sometimes.

I had a Chaffinch visit today.

The first I've seen this year.

Usually get two to three wood pigeons each day. But this morning there were five , two on the large plot and three on the small one. Some bickering going on in the small plot. Sorted themselves out eventually.

I occasionally get Nuthatch, GSP and Siskins coming to the feeders. At the moment they are coming several times a day. I feel lucky.
