Good morning all,
I hope everyone is staying safe and well in these horrendous times.
Checking in
Re: Checking in
Hi John, good to see you are keeping safe. What a year it has been. Keeping out the way here, and if i do go for a walk, though not lately, too much rain. I carry a small bottle of sanitizer with me.

Yep hope everyone stays safe and has at least some sort of Christmas.
I've come up to my mum's in Wales (I'm allowed to form a support bubble with her) so it'll just be a quiet Christmas with a Zoom to the rest of the family in Newcastle.

Re: Checking in
Glad to hear everyone is keeping safe. Last day of work today before i closed the warehouse down until January. I will be making the most of watch my three kiddies enjoy their xmas. I haven't been out much with the camera recently but hoping to resume in the new year.
Thanks for being wonderful that make this forum great.

Re: Checking in
During the first lock down I had a lacerated leg that turned into a sore more like an ulcer. It was dressed twice a week by the District Nurses and then the Practice nurses for twenty eight weeks when it was eventually healed. As a result I wasn't out much. This time is different as we are in Tier 4 and can only go out for essential shopping or a very limited walk. Now there is a new strain of the virus to contend with. Won't be over until we are all vaccinated which will take time to do. In the meantime, everyone please stay safe.
PS - hope Santa was good to you all.

Re: Checking in
Sorry to hear about your travails peregrine. After a fairly grim 2020 next year just has to be better.
Best wishes for 2021.

If anyone is in any doubt about the vaccine, watch the Panorama about the Oxford AZ one and how they made and tested it. Very interesting and I have full faith in it. We will get back to normal at some point.

I have faith in all the vaccines. Think I would prefer the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine, less problems with storage, transport etc.
Re: Checking in
Without a doubt it's the easiest to transport around.
-80C freezers are huge, expensive and complicated. Most people over 75ish will probably get the Pfizer one though.
I have a couple of medic friends who have already had their first dose and they've been fine.
