Cloudy start and up until mid morning. Once the sun came out it was hot. Still quite hot now even with a fan blowing.

Thunderstorm last night. Not a great deal of rain, or thunder, but a spectacular hour's-worth of sheet lightning which began in the south and worked its way north.
Still hot this morning, 68F, and not as fresh as I expected it to be.

Another sunny hot day here. Cloud has been building in now, could have a nice light show later.

Last evening's thunderstorm was very different to the one the night before !! . The local Council put out a "Don't travel unless you abso have to" warning. Never seen that before.
I was recording a TV prog and it failed.
Everything bright and sparkling this morning, the humididity has gone and it's a very pleasant 68F.

A very strange day following a steamy night an overcast day with an hour of steady rain around midday. Afternoon was dry and pleasantly cool.

A little rain overnight, but not the thunder that was forecast. Plenty of sunshine in the morning and part afternoon. More threatening cloud, but no rain or thunder. Very humid.
