Splendid effort once again . The dragonfly caught my attention as you could see the abdomen pulsating as it was basking in the sun.

Opening sequence of the agapanthus, I thought the plant behind it was a variety of sea holly but seeing it again at 2.33 I reckon it's one of the alliums, which is very good .
The knapweed pics were quite a surprise because mine have finished flowering already although I don't know why. As you illustrate, butterflies, and everything else!, simply love them.

Thank you Placi. The type of alliums you pointed out seem to be a magnate for the bees. Taking a bit more notice, I have come to realize just what a lovely flower that type of thistle is, and another magnate for bees. Very pleased I managed to get a nice variety this time.

That was lovely, Willpar . Whatever the black and white thingy was on the ledge, it looked biiiiig .
Left the best 'til last: the teasel was quite a surprise, and earlier there are knapweeds still in flower; mine are long gone.

Thanks both. The foal was just a day old when I seen it. Was still a bit wobbly. I don't know what the little butterfly/moth is on the blade of grass, but it was smaller than the nail on my little finger. Still some interesting stuff around.

I thought the foal was very young. What was interesting was the fact that when it decided to get up from its rest, it jumped onto all 4 feet simultaneously which was quite a co-ordinated feat for a learner !!

I don't know what the little butterfly/moth is on the blade of grass, but it was smaller than the nail on my little finger.

I had the same species of Moth in my garden a few years back. I could only find a latin name for it and I have forgotten what it was.
