Seem to be an abnormal amount of quite small brown butterflies around for these past 2 days. Think it may be linked to the fact that the buddleia is in flower :). Absolute magnet !!

My buddleia is in full flower at present with a very strong perfume(even I can smell it). Butterfly visits, thus far, have been disappointing :(

My Papillon du jour was the Peacock. There were several flitting around most of the day plus the usual selection of whites :butterfly: :butterfly:

Lots and lots today (because the sun was out  ) - mainly seem to be peacocks and large whites.

The large whites were in honour of the English test side.

Painted Ladies were the butterflies of the day. The most I counted at one time was only four but each time I walked past the buddleia through the day there were always a couple in evidence. :) :butterfly: :butterfly: :butterfly: :butterfly:
