Thermometer showed slightly warmer night (don't believe it) but the birdbath ice had to be cleared. Birds don't like hard water
.
Beautiful sun and sky though.
Next weekend's forecast mentioned the four-letter word ..... snow

Cold again this morning. Sunny day here for the best part. Out of the wind the sun still had some heat.

Just one degree at 5am this morning, with a widespread frost. But it still was a lovely Autumn day here with plenty of sunshine.

Temerature was zero here at 5am this morning. Widespread frost again and also some ice on the water. Lovely and sunny again up until mid afternoon, then became quite cloudy.
