It's OK for some. No slumming it by a draughty English wetland :windy: for them but New England in the fall. :sun:

Just noticed this ..... tonight on BBC4 at 7 pm: Natural World - Beavers Behaving Badly
A project to relocate beavers that have been causing problems in Wyoming's wetlands.
Repeated at 1.50 am tomorrow.

I do believe that ours are very well-behaved :)but just in case ........

Rather late, just noticed this:
BBC4, tonight at 7 pm - Natural World Special: My Life As A Turkey
I recall this from maybe 6-7-8 years ago but remember it for being a quirky absorbing prog. Joe rears 13 wild turkeys from birth to final release into the wild and it's fascinating because of the insight into the thinking processes of these intelligent birds.
They look nothing like the supermarket inflated tasteless abominations prevalent today, in fact you'd scarcely know they are turkeys without being told. It's very interesting indeed.
Repeated at 2 am Sunday morning.

Rather hazy about the details now, Willpar, but the fact that I can remember it as being quite good says something for it.
It's in some American backwoods and it's a bit sad :cry2:. Tissues would be a good idea :weep:.
The chap, Joe, is what Bikey would be in a different universe .

That "14 episodes" confused me ! But I think that's the "Natural World" series rather than The Turkeys. Actually, I wouldn't mind watching 14 episodes of Joe and his family
