Blackbird and Sparrow with building material I herd a Skylark singing yesterday and herd a bumble bee today .

A jay today

. Very taken by the pnuts among the mixed seed on the ground. It was circled by a m. blackbird keeping a wary distance.

Your Blackbird is right to be respectful. Like all the other corvids the Jay is very protective of it's food supply.

Had a nice walk this morning. On my way back, not 10 mins from home i spotted a yellow hammer in the hedge.
