Oh yes, I do that every time I log off

What I think messed with everything was that I had Data Saver turned on for a couple of days - don't think I'll bother again

No need to delete your cookie each time. If you don't do that, when you come back you'll be logged in already. Much simpler.

Delete your site cookie so you get a new one.
