Rainy start to the day here. Did dry up by mid morning. Had a little sunshine and then cloudy again.

We, the Inmates of Sing-Sing, have scrimped, stolen and saved to scrape together enuf funds to have a little Christmas Lunch at a local hostelry
We are snowed in behind our battlements, the snow-level is rising as I type and the sky is full of it.
Betcha we can't renegotiate the date prior to 29 January

Nope, Nuthatch, we didn't even try. 'Twasn't the roads getting there, most of which are main, it was the remote possibility of someone falling over and thus spending Crimbo in hospital
. A quick straw poll by 'phone elicited the general response, "Let's go another day". So we will - April sounds nice

My next door has a vet appointment (I know, I know) tomorrow and she's cancelled it
so her 21-y o. cat has to wait for his checkup.

Had a flurry down here but only lasted 30 seconds. But there is snow up on the higher parts of Dartmoor.
