Empty container on patio, approx. 6 ins x 6 ins, this morning contains 1.5 inches of a transparent liquid which for sake of argument we will call 'rain'.
This wet substance fell for the preceding 24 hours (and more) without ceasing to draw breath. Necessary but rather OTT I thought, all in one go to get July's total.
