Hi Placi, first time I have seen two little egrets there. Have only seen one most times. But I did not know what kind of ducks were in the video.

I thought the shag was a cormorant, it looked so big.

The ducks that didn't conform to the traditional colour scheme are cross breeds. The male Mallard is remarkably unfussy in regard of female liaisons and a many of the domestic breeds have Mallards in their ancestry there is no problem other than dodgy colour schemes.

That's interesting, Jacksparrow, about the profligate male mallard because, I think, the best duck for sale in Sainsco is the Gressingham, which is a cross between the mallard and the bigger Pekin duck.
