It has always been the downside of attracting birds to your garden is making the Sprawk's job easier. although I dislike seeing my little birds end up a sprawk's dinner I am always impressed by the skill and craft of the bird and by the lookout system employed by his intended targets.

Twenty five feral pigeons arrived all at once and devoured every dropped seed or crumb from under the feeders.

Out on my walk this morning had a lovely sight. Was nearing Fungi Field and noticed two buzzards circling, was then joined by another two and then another two. Six buzzards all in the same place. Wow what a moment.

I was delighted to see a pair of Redpolls on the hearts feeder today

. The cold weather worked it's magic but now it's gone mild again
