Animal footprints.

Came across these today on my walk.






But what left it.

Surely they have to be left by some kind of deer ??
Don't think fossas go that far south .

I have to agree with Placido. But what of the others on the right of the picture?

Yes, I wondered about the intriguing spoor on the right .....

Yes it is the print of a deer. The only ones I have ever seen in the general area are Roe. Lots of doggy footprints around as it is that kind of walk. But it did make me think that there may have been more than one, but no more than two. Small wooded area right next to the path, but have never seen deer in there, maybe due to dogs.
