Apologies for the extended break in the serial.......I did an episode yesterday which seems to have disappeared into the ether :(
Much like when Biker takes a break from the Sturkling Diaries to sharpen his pencils "The Postman cometh" will return shortly when I remember where I've put it.

After giving a little while for this to sink in Andy's mum continued.................... but had barely uttered a word when the lounge door burst open followed by the twins Aster and Emma. It was four PM and they were home from school. Up until they'd entered the room neither had the slightest idea that anything different was afoot. "Grandma Donion?" exclaimed Emma who was always quicker on the uptake than her sister. Although the girls had never met their Grandma they were familiar with here as they had been speaking on Skype for some time and were always exited when the big parcels arrived on their birthday and at Christmas. Andy explained to the girls that this was a surprise visit and there was much to talk about and asked them to go to their rooms for a little while and do their homework. The girls agreed and soon the room was returned to the previous level of serious intensity.
" Where was I?" said Andy's mum. Peke spoke up and told her she'd reached the point where they'd had a phone call from Dess,Parrot,Thymes.
"Aaah yes? she said. She started to explain that the solicitors had asked her if she knew anyone called Herbie Vooer. She'd said she did but only a very long time ago and had no contact since. They had also enquired as to whether she had any children and if so what age were they.
Andy's mum had at that point in the conversation asked what it was all about. The senior partner in the practice Ivor Pickle-Degg said there was little else he was prepared to say over the phone and could she come to the UK for the reading of a will...............

Objection, m'lud !!! Why hasn't Ivor Pickle-Degg (identified above as The Senior Partner) got his name above the shop, to wit and viz: Dess, Parrot, Thymes ??

This entire thing is lifted straight from Dickens, innit ?? We'll have Bob Dont-Scratchitt next . I smell A. Ratt.

.....when she may learn something to her advantage. As Peke usually returned to the UK at this time of year for his company's end of year party she decided that her hatred of flying would have to be put to one side. Peke had been in the room while she took the call and overheard the name Pickle-Degg being used. As it happened way back in his student days at Oxford he remembered being friends with an Ivor Pickle as he was then and his girlfriend Freya Degg. Before the call was terminated he asked to chat with the person on the other end of the line and found out that the two lovebirds had married after they'd graduated and became double barreled in the process. He also found out that the original partnership of Dess,Parrot,Thymes had retired to the golf course and the Pickle-Deggs had taken over the practice. He also asked how they'd managed to track Andy's mum to NZ and apparently the practice secretary Liza Bound was a bit of a whizz on the ancestry site on the internet plus a few other tricks.
Andy had sat in silence though all this and was about to ask a few more questions when............................................
