This morning I took a walk around the local country park. I saw plenty of Robins, Crowns, Black head gulls and had the please over a grey heron flying right over my head. Lovely to watch those birds.

I decided to go for a walk today to try and see some winter thrushes(Redwings etc). I elected to take a tried and tested route which has seldom disappointed in the past. I saw one :( (which was a Mistle Thrush I think) and I'm not 100% certain about that. On the bright side I did see within the space of five minutes a Little Grebe(Dabchick), a GSW, a Cormorant and a Buzzard which just about made up for my disappointment about the thrushes.
