Someone said the word "Spangles" today. Crikurk, that took me back a bit. Pricey but good value (3d.) !!

Really liked the (French) mustard coloured Spangles. No idea what flavour they were though......

I just checked, Biker - they say it was treacle although my first thought was butterscotch but you would have recognised that flavour

The most popular were the fruit ones but there was a packet called something like "Old Fashioned" (?) which were sort of aniseed, butterscotch and a sort of burnt toffee flavour - I think. All good anyway.
