Just came to bed and saw this guy on the ceiling...had to go get the ladders for closer look....it can stay the night rent free but getting evicted in morning
Common Marbled Carpet Moth according to that search engine so will take that with pinch of salt! And Wait for our expert

Found this little fella running(!) along my path last night, bug app says it is will become a Ruby Tiger Moth, not that I have ever seen one.

Hopefully we get to see it once it transforms into a moth.
BTW Snappy, like your avatar, it reminds me of a robin we fed some years ago, tame little thing, we aptly named it scruffy.

Yes it is (for once the search engine was right!)- its a really variable moth just to cause confusion
