Two pied wagtails flying around here this morning. Never came in though.
You have had the pleasure of Waggies for a long time now so I'm sure you'll have them back for the winter. Just keep the mealies handy.
On the other hand I cannot remember the last time I had one in my garden. At one time they were regulars. They are still around as I see them in my town in the shopping area scuttling around the pavements looking for scraps.
I only ever see them around town centre and car parks, never had a pleasure of seeing one in my garden. Such cute little birds, would love to see them around my feeders

Have both pied wagtails now. The bully seems to have gotten into the festive spirit and lets the other one have some mealworms.
I bet that doesn't last long. Back to normal tomorrow.
Just out feeding the pied wagtails, when all of a sudden they flew off. Then i could see why, a hawk flying overhead. Sparrows had dived into the hedge also.
