Just went out with the food for the pied wagtails. Could see the normal two, but as soon as i had thrown the food down three more flew in.

Looks like the pied wagtails have gone back into the countryside. Not seen them since last Thursday, and this time they all left together. Three of them.

Bit unusual for this time of year, but a pied wagtail has been hanging out in the car park most of the afternoon. I have been feeding it but with soaked mealworms and calci worm combo. Seems to eat them. Has a very black throat. Cant be breeding this year.

Funny you should say that Willpar, I've seen them around different car parks recently, and I remember that you said that they don't usually hang around car parks after the winter is over. Found it unusual

All the winters i have been feeding them butterfly have never known this before. Normally are gone by middle of March. It was there again an hour or so ago, same bird. Gave it a good feed. I don`t have any live mealworms, but is eating soaked ones.
