Its only a short clip because I didn't see where it was when it came out of the water. Its completely silent and stays under the water for a very long time
. It appeared just recently on the local lake. Little moorhen seem to like following it

Quite possibly a Cormorant. My first thought was a Great Crested Grebe but it looks a bit big for one of those.
