While looking at the bursting buds on the blue plant today I happened to glance down amongst the masses of foliage on the white plant and it has suddenly decided to produce some flowers. They are only small buds and short stalks at present but the promise is there. The day of judgement may be delayed yet again.

Now I'm getting a little bit over-excited at this longed-for news

.
All it needed was a quick squint at the axe and it's rolled over immediately. Good move on its part

I had a quick count of flower stalks in the white agapanthus today and there are about a dozen. If they develop fully into flowers it will be the best year for some time. The earlier talk of it's demise are now well on the back burner.

Aaaahhaaahh, that's all very well though - I've heard you saying things like that before. Next thing we know is that you've taken your axe to it and brought the poor thing's best effort to a shuddering halt.

White is finally flowering. 34(yes,your read it correctly) flower heads is the final count. I think that is the most ever.
