I am not familiar enough to recognise LF15 , but I captured my screen with that incident, can you maybe tell if its her? I'm amazed I actually saw this happening live

Hi Butterfly

Apologies for the delay in replying yesterday but I hit my shin off the bottom of the bed and ended up in AE with a 3" gash that was cleaned, pulled together and dressed.

Looking at the footage you captured I am not 100% sure. The intruder didn't appear to have a Blue Davic Ring which would mean it is not LF15 but another un-ringed female

Oh so it wasn't LF15! Things are getting interesting indeed  . Sorry for all the questions ... does NC0 have a blue ring?

I can't be sure if this was NC0 on the nest, but the poor girl was attacked again

Thanks Butterfly

NC0 does have a blue ring. That was how the staff identified her. They contacted Ron Dennis who had the information.

SHe is sitting in the nest cup frequently so we may be in for an egg soon.

Probably spoke too soon. NC0 got up and re-arranged her nest, twigs on the outside and shaping the nest cup in the centre and then she flew off.

DIdn't see all the mayhem yesterday but LM12 and NC0 made the national news. They had a torrid time defending the nest against an intruder. Not sure if it was a male of female an everything happened so quick. Not sure what will happen as both resident birds spend a bit of time away from the nest. We should be seeing an egg very sooner but NC0 is not showing any signs of laying.

Someone has brought a large clump of moss into the nest.

I missed that attack yesterday, every time I looked at the nest it was empty  . Do they post videos from the nest anywhere peregrine?

No just from Loch of the Lowes

There has been a bit of hassle on the nest since Wednesday particularly yesterday. The nest appears empty most of the time and I wouldn't be surprised if LM12 and NC0 do not raise a family this year.
