Two chicks on the nest at Loch of the Lowes. Not sure which is which. One feeding itself on a fish.

No word of PK2 having fledged.

KP2 fledged Saturday (16 July) @ 09.10. That's all the chicks in the air now. Won't be long before they they depart on their long journey. Then it will just be the feeders.

Another chick feeding itself at Loch of the Lowes. I'm sure they are all feeding themselves as they fight over the fish their patent bring to the nest.

Looks like Rowan (oldest at Loch Garten) has been practicing fished and has been seen diving into the loch. Loch too dark due to surrounding peat so Ospreys will fish elsewhere.

FR3 (tracked) from Loch of the Lowes is on the move again. See blog for an update.

Haven'ty seen any activity on the nest at Loch Garten for over a week. Birds should still be around.

Not much news at either nest site. No word of the females having departed, they always leave first. Then the chicks and finally the male.
